UCAS Teacher Training
We offer provider led training places through the Northampton Teacher Training Partnership and School Direct training places through Northampton School for Boys. Both routes lead to the same qualification which also includes a university validated Post Graduate Certificate in Education.

Professional Skills Tests
All current and prospective trainee teachers must pass the professional skills tests (skills tests) on numeracy and literacy before they can be recommended for the award of qualified teacher status (QTS). You must pass the professional skills tests in numeracy and literacy before you start your teacher training course.
