RQT Training Programme 2020/21
This programme is aimed at recently qualified teachers in Primary, Secondary and Special School settings.
It is suitable for teachers in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of teaching. The programme aims to build on existing experience and develop the skills gained in the first years of teaching.
It aims to further develop the themes looked at in the NQT programme, although it is not necessary for participants to have attended this.
Its purpose is to further develop effective teaching and learning strategies and to aid participants in becoming consistently outstanding teachers.
It also aims to support one’s development professionally beyond the classroom and to help you in ensuring young people’s well-being.
The course will be a mixture of online and face to face sessions when the current situation permits.
